For a deep clean use warm soapy water to gently clean the top surface.
Our Yoga Mat Spray is available to purchase and is a handy spray to take to your yoga class to clean after use and keep your mat fresh.
Air out a damp mat and do not place in the dryer.
Avoid direct sunlight for extended periods of time.
Avoid storage in a hot car or surface for extended periods of time as this may warp the natural rubber base.
SUPER Grip Yoga Mat (PU top):
Our Yoga Mat Spray is NOT suitable for Super Grip Mats.
Clean with a cloth lightly moistened with warm water and a touch of mild detergent that is oil free. We recommend a 1:20 solution of oil-free soap or vinegar and warm water to keep it clean between uses. For Alchemy Chocolate and Charcoal designs give the mat a clean prior to your first use to lift any print residue.
For stubborn marks use a concentrated mix of dishwashing liquid and warm water immediately after the stain appears. We recommend Morning Fresh Dishwashing Liquid to lift dirt marks. Only recommended if you have a stubborn stain, as the grip performance may be affected with this type of clean over time
The Polyurethane top surface is an open cell structure that may absorb dirt/oils and stain the top surface long term. This will typically not affect the use of the yoga mat, only the appearance. Avoid using the mat with dirty hands and feet as dirt can stain the top surface if not removed immediately. Also wipe off any oily moisturisers on your body prior to using the mat
Best used with jewellery free hands and feet to avoid denting or tearing the top surface. Keep away from sharp and hard objects to avoid indenting the PU material
If you find your Super Grip mat has a scent initially, simply air it out unrolled in fresh air after giving it a light clean using our care instructions
