Grip Tips for the Microfiber Soft Grip Yoga Mats
Prior to your first use:
Spray water onto the top surface and using a moderate amount of force scrub the water into the microfiber using circular motions with a clean cloth. Doing this will help achieve the best grip and have you supported from your first flow.
Allow yourself a few flows on your new yoga mat to feel the optimum grip whilst the microfiber surface has a chance to break in.
Will the yoga mat be grippy?
It most certainly will. Due to the detailed printing on the microfiber top surface it may take you a few practices to break your mat in and get the full potential of grip from the yoga mat. The yoga mats can be used for all styles of Yoga, Pilates and mat exercises in non-heated and heated settings.
Are the microfiber (Soft Grip) mats suitable for hot yoga?
Absolutely. With the top surface being an absorbent material it works perfectly for any practice that gets you sweating and replaces the need for a top towel. As the material absorbs the moisture you will feel an optimum grip below your hands and feet. To reproduce this effect in non-heated classes try spraying your mat with water prior to your workout.
